Animation heads to Malaysia!
South Korea has a total of 9 animation projects to present to the Asian Animation Summit (AAS) next month. Child favorite Kemy (G&G Entertainment) is set to return with season 2. The show geared toward helping children learn what things are made of has at least 15% of its budget paid. Kemy and his friends Gogo, Coyo Coyo, Toong, Ling Ling and many others took youngsters on a learning journey in 2010 and they plan to do even more in the near future.
Relieve a little of what Kemy was all about through our following 2011 preview:
Sunwoo Entertainment’s “Ted and Dory Detectives” and Studio Gale’s “Circus Show” are the remaining South Korean animation projects with 15% of their budgets.
The following are projects that have secured an Asian broadcaster endorsement and are currently in-development. They need project funding in addition to co-producers, broadcaster and distributor support.
Synergy Media’s ”WonderBalls!”
Electric Circus’ “Survival in the Jungle”
NHC Media’s “Eggbot”
Studio Moggozi’s ”Eeny, Meany, Manemo”
MBC C&I’s ”Buzzzz Pong!”
Grafizix’s ”Beat Band”
